These firms seek candidates that are trained in public relations, surveillance technology, firearm and weapon usage, and writing so they can prepare reports. Those with college degrees usually receive higher pay and begin with a high ranking position. Candidates with a desire to work in private security management should earn a bachelor's degree in organizational security and management.
